Never Again, For Anybody

What happens when a Jewish student activist is investigated for antisemitism? In the spring of 2024, I followed Ramona Saft, third-year student of the New School and president of her university's Jewish Culture Club, as she navigated a Title IX antisemitism investigation levied against her by the New School because of her pro-Palestine activism, particularly her presence at a protest of a speaking engagement by an Israel Defense Forces soldier on March 6th. To her, participation in activism for social justice is a part of Judaism itself: After growing up hearing the phrases "never forget" and "never again" in reference to the Holocaust, she came to the conclusion that "never again" means never again, for anybody.
